This company is truly a family operated business with Bill and Carilyn owning the company and their children, Tara and Holly operating day to day activities. Tara is the general manager, overseeing all areas of the business. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, voicing the radio ads, running hot tub dept., ordering and pricing as well as training staff. She also continues to be an active force on the sales floor and provides excellent customer service. Holly makes sure all the administrative duties get taken care of including all warranty claims and procedures, HR tasks, payroll, payables/receivables and occasional sales and customer service. Not including themselves, they have 2-3 full time sales associates on staff all year, 1 technician and 1 inventory manager. In the warmer months staff can increase to 20 . McBurney Pools & Spas was formed in 1980 and has been operating out of Burnside Industrial Park since 1992. They started with 1100 sq/ft. and have since moved twice to accommodate their ever expanding product lines and increasing customer base. Their location now has a 5000 sq/ft. showroom, which has Beachcomber Hot Tubs on display They also carry a full line up of above ground swimming pools, water care and accessories for both pools and hot tubs.
